Adult Discipleship Community Leadership Team- 2026

*PRAYER COORDINATOR: Michael Page

Assembles members who will pray for the church, your community and your members.

*HOSPITALITY COORDINATIOR:Harlan Ford

Assembles members of the community into teams and oversees their functions in these areas:

Assimilation: Earlene Page

Assembles and leads community members in extending to guest a genuine warm welcome, hospitality and active assimilation into the life of the community.

Social: John Nettles, Curt Cooper, Liz Nettles, Becky Cooper

Plans and coordinates social events and activities to engage members into community life. Also tracks birthdays, special events and occurrences and informs, congratulates, sends cards, etc.

Takes attendance every week and enters it into the My Asbury site. We recommend 2 people as this allows your community to have a backup in case one is absent.

*MEMBER CARE COORDINATOR: Anita Sellers, JaNett Hunsberger

Assembles members of the community into teams and oversees their function in these areas:

· Time of Need: Anita Sellers, JaNett Hunsberger

Receives notice from members in your Community of deaths, births, and significant events. Leads Community in responding to these needs. Coordinates memorial receptions. Responsible for informing the church of deaths and any other pastoral care needs.

· Hospitalizations: LaWana Axtell

Receives a list, Monday through Friday, of Asbury people who are in local hospitals, and identifies those in your Community. Coordinates with other Community leaders to communicate those needs and encourages members to offer prayer and support. Encourages members to contact Asbury with upcoming surgeries or procedures.

· Small Groups: JaNett Hunsberger, Chad Whitten

Coordinates small groups in your community.

*BIBLICAL LEARNING COORDINATOR:Joy Ondracek, Asa Adamson, Julie Wilson

Assembles a team of community members who oversees the spiritual growth of the community. Responsible for selecting/securing teachers, learning activities and various types of small groups.

*MISSIONAL OUTREACH COORDINATOR:Amy Whitten

Assembles a team of community members who promote the outward focus (cast a vision) for your community’s evangelistic outreach in the Tulsa community, as well as national and global missions.
